Music producer Russell Simmons tweeted his congratulations to the singer and her husband Jay-Z.
“Congratulations Jay-Z & Beyoncé,” the hip hop mogul, a close friend of the two, wrote on Friday.
E! News recently reported that Beyoncé is expecting a second child with husband Jay-Z.
The recent cancellation of a concert in Belgium was said to be due to the singer’s new pregnancy.
While the star has not confirmed the pregnancy, she took to Instagram to address all the speculation regarding a second pregnancy.
Earlier this month she talked in an interview to Good Morning America about her desire to expand her family.
“I would like more children. I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being a big sister. At some point … when it’s supposed to happen,” she said.
